BQ in Iraq

Here are a few of the BQ in Iraq. Members were Me, Rob, Gary, Bekah, and Marcus. Also a picture of the bombed out palace from a helicopter. This was one of three presidential palaces on the compound where we lived. It was off-limits due to the fact it took three cruise missiles in the early stages of the war.

I'll never forget Marcus eating those burgers before the helicopter trip and wallpapering the inside of the bird with them!

Oy!

The helicopter crews called him "Pukey the Tuba Player" after that. He hated that.

Wow Brian, this is really neat! How fun it is to read about all your adventures, and the pics are great. I remember seeing alot of these guys (the photo's below this set) in Germany when Debbie, Mom and Dad and I came out. My favorite day of the whole trip was watching your band play in that quaint little village (can't remember the name of it). And, yes the beer was fabulous too! Big Sis

Brian - what's a BQ? Is that the bar-be-que without the be? You know - BBQ, minus the B? Or Bar-Q?

Is it okay if I post some "band" pictures of you from high school and college - before your army buddies knew you?

No problem, Mom.

BQ stands for Brass Quintet.
