One of those ideas you just have to try. The surgical tubing made my sound come out of his bell and his sound come out of mine. That is really weird listening to someone else play your horn and your sound come from somewhere else.
The other thing about that is that since surgical tubing stretches, the pitch would go down the farther we stood apart from each other.

This blog is intended to be a place where old and current collegues of the 1ID Band can keep in contact to see what is happening. I met a lot of really great friends in my time with the band in Bamberg, Germany. Bandsmen being the way they are, however, contact isn't often made after a PCS. Hopefully, this blog will make a convenient outlet to keep in touch. Let us know your story, whether you are new in the band, or were in it long ago.
